The manufacturer of acoustic panels Spigogroup has joined the national initiative ‘EActíVate‘, a movement already supported by more than 3,000 Spanish companies committed creativity and entrepreneurship to sustain the productive fabric of the country in these times of economic and business uncertainty.
With this decision Spigogroup, internationally known for its Spigotec (false ceilings), Spigoacustic (acoustic panels) and Spigoline (wood slats) brands, wants to reaffirm its decision to take part in the economic recovery that will make business growth and job creation possible.
Lara Oliván, marketing director of Spigogroup, explains that “when the state of alarm was decreed in March 2020 we were also afraid for the future of our business. We decided that, from that moment on, we should work with the same enthusiasm we had when, 30 years ago, we started under the name of Carpintería Paco. The wheel of the Spanish economy must not stop and Spigogroup was going to do its part to make that happen. We got applied our efforts more than ever. Our heads were boiling with ideas as our hearts were racing. The adrenaline of the effort was keeping us going. While others fought their battle in the hospitals, we would do it from our workplace, with the weapons of creativity and innovation.”
And all that bore fruit. Within a few weeks Spigogroup’s innovation and development department designed, tested and launched the new Spigoplank decorative wood panels. This is a new decorative wood product at the service of recently renovated hotel establishments, offices or shops that today, with faith and courage, open their doors every day to keep our country working.
