The use of wood in shop decoration is one of the most popular choices in retail interior design in recent years. Wood can be seen in any type of project, from the most classical and serious to the most modern and casual. It is elegant, warm and very versatile, as it has hundreds of formats and finishes, and can be used in the design of any part of a shop.

Mikonos, the multi-brand firm from La Rioja, recently opened their new fashion space on Gran Vía in Logroño. After more than 30 years as trend makers in the application of design and innovation in commerce, the brothers Manuel, Marian and Daniel Niño decided to renew their commitment with new 155 m² premises in the heart of the city. They belong to that set of exceptional Spanish business people who are facing these moments of uncertainty with entrepreneurial spirit, courage, intelligence and a lot of passion.

They entrusted the project to the interior designer Jesús Lozano, and commissioned Spigogroup to design and carry out all the woodwork. The project installed a natural oak wood floor with matte varnish and wood cladding in various parts of the shop. The display furniture, shelves, shoe racks, coat racks, counters, dressing rooms and the TV stand were all custom built. In addition, Spigogroup supplied the wood doors and manufactured the skirting boards and marble finishes.

Below you can see the spectacular final result.
