Acoustic tiles for auditoriums occupy the most prominent place in any catalogue of acoustic solutions intended for the acoustic conditioning of spaces. An auditorium, whether it is intended for musical auditions or is going to be used as a classroom, requires perfect acoustics, so the sound reaches the ears of the audience with clarity.
At Spigogroup we are specialists in acoustic solutions made of wood. We have supplied acoustic panels to dozens of auditoriums around the world. These are some examples of auditoriums built with Spigogroup’s acoustic tiles for auditoriums.

Qatar Development Bank – QDB Auditorium
At our operating centre in Spain, we produced the necessary material for the acoustic conditioning of the big department halls, auditorium, prayer rooms and common rooms at QDB headquarters. In total, we installed close to 1,000 sq.m. of model LEO 16 acoustic wood panels made of cherry melamine and fireproof MDF (B-s2, d0), installed by a local company specialising in assembling these types of inner linings.
Alfredo Kraus Auditorium
The building, designed by the architect Oscar Tusquets, opened later, in 2010, its multi-purpose 587 m² room for up to 610 people with a world first, an innovative mechanism to retrieve the seats.
For this auditorium we supplied acoustic panels of sound-absorbent wood. In particular, we supplied the following models: Spigotec Liso acoustic panels, finished in veneer oak painted on fire-resistant MDB and Spigotec Leo 16 acoustic panels, also finished in veneer oak painted on fire-resistant MDB.

Auditorium of the Qatari Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning
We prepared and shipped 240 m² of acoustic panels Spigoacustic model 42-16-16 with melamine cherry finish, 170 m² of Spigoacustic acoustic panels model 42-NO-16 also finished with cherry melamine and 290 m² of Spigoacustic acoustic panels model 42- 16-16 with maple melamine finish.
Logroño Auditorium
Approximately 200 m² of Virgo 74 acoustic panels with a beech wood finish were supplied and installed, thereby providing the necessary acoustic absorption to ensure the acoustic conditioning of the Logroño Municipal Auditorium. The acoustic panels were installed in approximately 15 days on the room’s wood walls and in entrances and exits, with special work in the stage and stairs areas.
Auditorium of the Saudi Press Agency
A very special building because of its spherical shape. A true challenge for the architects and also for us, as we took care of supplying the interior wood panelling. Furthermore, we count on a wonderful installer staff from origin country, who was the responsible of designing a special wood formwork system for the project.
The interior wood panelling we supplied consisted of some 1,700 sqm of Spigotec Leo 10 and Spigotec Liso, veneered in cherry wood effect M1.
Archidona Town Hall Auditorium
This work by Ramón Fernández Alonso y Asociados S.L. features Spigoacustic acoustic panels finished in sucupira veneered and white melamine.
