We also manufacture interior wood cladding for health centres or hospitals. Health care facilities are the essence of buildings designed to care for people, so materials such as wood are used in their design and construction to provide a benefit for patients and health care workers.
Wood acoustic panels enable the acoustic conditioning of rooms, consulting rooms and waiting rooms. In addition, wood connects us with the nature it represents and conveys serenity, stillness and warmth, some of the sensations that are most beneficial to patient care. These features, plus the quality of the materials installed, gave Spigogroup the opportunity to participate in the construction or renovation of these three health care buildings:
- For the Lezkairu Health Centre in Navarre, we manufactured 920 m² of 1200×600 cm Spigoacustic 42-32-64 acoustic panels, with wood effect varnished oak veneered finish on 16 mm fireproof MDF Bs1,d0, with T15 half-hidden profile mounting system, and 560 m² of 600×600 cm Spigoacustic 42-NO-32, acoustic tiles, with white melamine finish on 16 mm fireproof MDF Bs1,d0, with T15 half-hidden profile mounting system.
- Acoustic panels are also used for meeting rooms, consulting rooms and common areas in hospitals. At the 12 de Octubre Hospital in Madrid, we supplied wood acoustic panels for their Cineteca Disney auditorium. More specifically, we manufactured and shipped Spigoacustic model 42-16-32 with a melamine cherry finish. The panels are 2,400 x 300 mm and employ a standard 16 mm MDF panel with a machined tongue & groove perimeter.
- For the Ansoáin Health Centre in Navarre, on the other hand, we opted for the white lacquered finish of the Spigoacustic 28-32-32 acoustic panel model.
